Pedro Molina is a Spanish double bassist, composer and bandleader based in Porto, Portugal. Born in Murcia in 1989, his work combines contemporary jazz, free improvisation and narrative composition.

Pedro Molina is a Spanish double bassist, composer and bandleader based in Porto, Portugal.
Born in Murcia in 1989, his work combines contemporary jazz, free improvisation and narrative composition, developing a personal musical language rooted in acoustic interaction and collective creativity.
As leader of the Pedro Molina Quartet, he received the awards for Best Original Arrangement and Best Ensemble at the International Jazz Competition of the University of Aveiro in 2023.
His albums À Procura (2024) and A Name I Knew (2026), both released by Carimbo Porta-Jazz, have received international recognition and established him as one of the emerging voices of the Iberian jazz scene.
